But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, so that you will become children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and the good, and he lets rain fall on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matthew 5:44-45)
It is easy to pray for family and friends and people that you do not know but are concerned for eg the flood victims.
It becomes another challenging matter to pray for someone who does not like and makes that known to you often.
I was helping a friend who was having a very difficult time with his boss in the work place. The boss was very aggressive towards my friend and giving my friend a very hard time.
I suggested that he pray for his boss. He was a little taken aback because that was the last thing on his mind.
I suggested that he do two things. First, pray to bind in chains unbreakable and cover with the blood of Christ, the demon spirits that was stirring up his boss. I suggested to my friend that they were using the boss’ personal issues and troubles to stir up and transfer the boss’s troubles onto my friend.
Secondly, I suggested that you pray to BLESS your boss (pray for His body, labour, emotional, spiritual and social life.
Praying in this way daily for his boss started to turn things around in his relationship with his boss. The atmosphere in the work place started to change.
Let me encourage you start praying to Bind and Bless the people who have hurt you or have turned upon you and see God change the atmosphere and the relationship.
You can use this pray: In the name of Jesus I bind with chains unbreakable and cover with the blood of Jesus all demon spirits over ......... I pray that the Holy Spirit will hover over .....and bring conviction of the truth that will .......free. I pray now to BLESS ...........
